A shabby chic card and NEWS!

I'll start off with the news...I made the semi-finals in the Splitcoast Stampers CAS Design Team search with this card.!
And my shabby chic card to show you...

The flower is cut using the SCAL program on my cricut.  The cardboard came from a yogurt box, lol.  Edges are distressed using a fork and brown inks.  TFL.

I really like your CAS card. The use of the button embossed border and red button as an apple is cute. Congrats on your effort to enter the contest. I also really like your second card. You got the chic down well.

Congrats!!! How exciting and the card you submitted is so cut, nice and CAS. Love today's card, how creative to use part of a box for that shabby chic.
